RALEIGH — A former Vass man has pleaded guilty to 12 counts in the selling of counterfeit golf gear. Warren Fondrie, 48, was given a suspended sentence of 60 to 80 months after pleading guilty Thursday in Moore County Superior Court, according to the North Carolina Secretary of State’s office.

Warren Fondrie pleaded guilty in Moore County Superior Court on April 16 to selling counterfeit, brand-name golfing gear on eBay, according to a statement issued Monday by the North Carolina Secretary of State’s Office.
